At Onepoint since 2013, I appreciate the listening and understanding we are given from the moment we arrive.
Career path of Hélène Jacolin, PO/PPO & leader of the RSE center of excellence of the SO community
From the IUT Informatique in Toulouse to the engineering school ENSEIRB in Bordeaux, in 2003, I became a computer engineer. I first started my career at Logica (now CGI). On my various projects, I held positions as a developer, functional analyst, tester, integrator (deployment), etc.
In 2011, I moved to a software publisher for telephone platforms to manage incoming and outgoing communication, as a project manager.
My journey at Onepoint
When I was recruited, Erwan, Partner, asked me what my ideal project would be. Although I had no expertise in this field, I explained that I wanted to work on a Business Intelligence topic. A client mission was about to start: he gave me the opportunity to train and I was able to start on this mission a month after my arrival. I greatly appreciated the listening and understanding of my desires!
A few months later, a response to a call for tenders entered the history of Onepoint and marked my career: the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the CASSIOPEE application, used by the magistrates of the Courts of First Instance for the Ministry of Justice, which lasted more than 4 years. On this project, I participated in the response to the call for tenders, then during the run I was the functional referent. I was the link between the MOA (project management) of the ministry and our realization team. On this project, we implemented the principles of the Scrum framework, I thus discovered and used agile methodologies. This allowed me to become Proxy Product Owner (PPO). It is through this vast and sensitive project that my skills in functional design were recognized: at Onepoint, our expertise is highlighted and we are asked to develop and transmit it.
Since then, I have varied my activities as Onepoint has expanded its range of skills. My daily life is now punctuated by different projects:
At the moment, I am working on the Responsible Digital training (content and animation), I am participating in the SportTrooper project which I initiated, I lead the RSE center of excellence of the southwest community and I support junior POs on their projects. This diversity of missions motivates me every day.
My sports commitments
I discovered sport shooting as part of university sports. Once graduated, I continued my practice in a club. In 2009, I joined the French team for the first time. When I arrived at Onepoint in 2013, I was on the ministerial list of high-level athletes. Our partner Erwan allowed me to adjust my schedule to be able to train more easily. However, high-level sport (world championships, Olympic Games) is difficult to access: stress makes me lose my means. So, I had the idea of an immersive system to generate stress during training sessions to improve my emotion management in competition. This idea turned into a Onepoint project co-constructed with the CREPS of Bordeaux and partly funded by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
My RSE commitments
The RSE center of excellence brings together all the initiatives and actions that contribute to respecting our RSE commitments.
On the one hand, the onegreen circle invites all employees to come and implement their ideas to improve our environmental impact: organizing a zero-waste conference, “adopt a plant” initiative to green our spaces, DIY workshops, bike repair workshops, organizing a World Clean Up Day, organizing a climate fresco…
On the other hand, as the leader of the center of excellence, my goal is to create an offer that will provide our clients with support in implementing sober, virtuous, and ethical technological solutions.
Why join us?
When I joined the southwest community, I integrated a service center of an ESN like any other. About sixty people dedicated to development. In nine years, I have seen new profiles arrive: agile coaches, designers, UX consultants, change management consultants, smart-building consultants, doctors (in AI, cognitive sciences, neuroscience…). Onepoint then aims to “transform the world”: I understand that we are no longer in a waiting posture for our clients’ requests, but that we anticipate future transformations of our society. This is why we are allowed to overflow with ideas! And you never know, they can be retained and developed, as was the case for SportTrooper.
The goal of these commitments is to improve our environmental and social impact.
